7109LS Smoke Detector plugs into a wall socket and should be mounted at the top of the wall. Standard audio alarm with built-in 177 Candela flashing strobe light
Troubleshooting Tips:
The 7109LS Smoke Detector will not respond to building-wide fire alarms.
The Door Knock signaler requires a firm, repeated knock. Tapping on the door will not activate the signaler. Battery strength does influence the sensitivity of the signaler. A fresh 9 volt battery is recommended for each installation.
If the phone makes a squealing noise when the CE225 is connected, make sure any built-in volume controls are off or turned all the way down. Continuous squealing means that the CE225 is not compatible with the existing phone system
If the outgoing voice is blocked when the CE225 is attached, this means that the amplifier is not compatible with the existing phone system
The AM6000H is not compatible with digital phone systems. If calls cannot be re-routed to the analog laptop phone port, then guests will have to rely on the built-in Sound Alarm to activate when the phone rings. Other loud sounds, such as a TV, can cause false signals. Place the phone on top of the AM6000H or as close to it as possible to reduce the chance of false alarms.
