Set-up Tips:
- All amplified phones are sensitive to power surges. Protect the phone by plugging it and the phone line into a surge suppressor. A battery back-up unit (UPS) with surge suppressor will protect the phone and keep it running temporarily during any power outage.
- If you are using a DSL Phone line, a second high frequency filter may be needed to block the background noise caused by the DSL modem. Or, ask your DSL provider if they can set up special phone jacks without the background modem signal. Amplified phones can be plugged into these jacks directly without the need for a filter.
